National Account Executive – Western Europe

Location: US REMOTE - EAST COAST CANDIDATES ONLY

New business development and account management selling to commercial breweries in Western Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience in a start-up environment selling products and/or services to small and medium sized businesses. Familiarity with the brewing processes is a plus, but not a requirement.

As a National Account Executive your job is to identify, qualify and close sales opportunities. A hunter. You will therefore be dealing with people at all levels within an organization: from brewers to quality control personnel to heads of operations.  To excel in this role you must be disciplined, focused on results, able to prioritize opportunities, and operate with a high level of efficiency and business ethics.

The National Account Executive is primarily responsible for driving profitable sales growth in an assigned territory while meeting or exceeding sales goals. Activities include learning and staying informed about the brewing industry at large; following a comprehensive sales process; establishing, updating and managing pipeline information for targeted accounts; managing time and resources effectively; representing Precision Fermentation within the industry and territory; and contributing to sales planning and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing a sales strategy to drive revenue
  • Develop new leads via cold calling, networking, etc.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer business to meet monthly and annual sales goals by contacting or meeting with existing clients
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, including maintaining accurate and complete information in CRM, estimate sales pipeline probabilities, and compile information into regular reports as requested
  • Pipeline growth of 3x ensuring while demonstrating a successful conversion rate
  • Manage multiple opportunities in different phases of the sales cycle (Initiate, develop, and close opportunities)
  • Industry event representation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information
  • Contribute to new product development that meets customer needs by identifying gaps where current products do not meet client requirements
  • Collaborate with partner organizations (e.g. state brewers guilds, channel partners)
  • Consultative selling with “challenger” mindset - strategically position Precision Fermentation by understanding customers’ pain points and propose solutions to fit their needs
  • Ability to travel (when appropriate – post Covid)

Sales Associate

Location: US Remote

The Sales Associate assists our National Account Executives (NAE) team with lead generation, qualification, administration, service and order processing. This role’s primary activities include understanding customer needs and requirements, sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, and routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with each NAE toward creation of a workflow ensuring maximum production and efficiency
    • Daily communication with team of National Account Executives (NAE) – phone, text, email & Slack
    • Assist NAE with lead generation and admin processes
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers (via CRM)
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule follow up presentations for NAE
  • Interact with existing customers in order to spark interest in additional products and convert these opportunities into qualified leads for the NAE
  • Explain and demonstrate features of products and services
  • Stay up to date with product and service information and updates
  • Stay informed about competing products and services
  • Liaison between sales and onboarding-client service/fulfillment
  • Represent Precision Fermentation, Inc. professionally

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Sound understanding of brewing science preferred
  • Experience with brewing systems a plus
  • Ability to communicate and understand brewing terminology
  • Ability to provide consistent and professional service to prospects & customers
  • Must be self-motivated and able to establish an effective and efficient routine
  • Must possess excellent time management skills
  • An effective and competent communicator, both spoken and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Be able to think critically and make decisions effectively

Sr. Developer

Responsibilities: Working with local and remote developers to coordinate development of new features, bug fixes, and integrations with 3rd party applications for the Brew Monitor Console application. Strong understanding of relational data models, AWS IoT concepts and APIs, PHP, Javascript, and Python are required. Will lead code reviews, manage pull requests, and oversee testing and deployment of changes. Strong understanding of system integration & dependencies, excellent organization skills, and strong communication skills are required.

Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience, at least 7 years of professional experience with at least 3 years of experience as a team lead responsible for reviewing and managing pull requests in a moderate complexity code base. Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
